Our number 1 priority is the safety and security of our clientele. ITAS takes every precaution to keep our customers safe. Be assured we do not conduct tours to areas or destinations that would compromise the security of our clients. For additional safety information you may visit the US State Department’s website. [toggle title=”Do I need to obtain a visa?”]U.S. and Canadian citizens DO NOT need a visa for Israel. Non-US citizens must contact the Israel Consulate or call us to find out other nation’s status.[/toggle]
[toggle title=”What is my luggage allowance?”]
You are allowed to check in ONE suitcase for free. It cannot exceed 62 inches (height + width + length) and 50 lbs. in weight. There is a fee for any additional checked luggage and the airline will charge extra or may refuse to accept larger luggage. Additionally, you are allowed ONE carry-on luggage not to exceed 39 inches (height + width + length).[/toggle]
[toggle title=”Is travel insurance included in the tour price?”]It is not included in the tour price but is highly recommend. For our customers’ convenience we offer travel insurance through TripMate Travel Insurance.[/toggle]
[toggle title=”Am I responsible for finding a roommate?”]If you do not want to pay the single room supplement, yes. Upon your request we will try to match you with a roommate, however we cannot guarantee one will be available. Therefore, you should try to find a roommate and notify us of your selection no later than 60 days prior to departure.[/toggle]
[toggle title=”Are vaccinations required?”]Vaccinations are not required to travel to Israel. For other destinations please check with the CDC.[/toggle]
[toggle title=”When will I receive my ticket?”]You will be issued an e-ticket or electronic ticket approximately two weeks prior to departure (paperless). Keep a copy of the Record Locator Number with you in order to make the check-in process easier. This code allows family at home to keep track of you through the airlines.[/toggle]
[toggle title=”How much money should I bring?”]Bring US currency in small denominations. We don’t not recommend bringing $50 bills or larger. Major credit cards, such as VISA or Master Card are excellent to have in case of an emergency and for buying more expensive items. Remember to notify your bank or credit card agency before you depart that you will be making purchases outside the country.[/toggle]
[toggle title=”When is the tour deposit and final payment due?”]The deposit is due 4 (four) months prior to departure. The balance is payable by cash, check or money order 60 days prior to departure. Credit card payments are subject to an additional 3% charge.[/toggle]
[toggle title=”What if my flight is delayed or cancelled?”]The airline is responsible for getting you to your destination as quickly as possible. Contact our office immediately to notify us of your new arrival information so we can meet you at the airport or assist you with changes if possible.[/toggle]
[toggle title=”What should I do in the event I have to cancel my trip?”]First of all it is especially important to call our office immediately. Also submit your cancellation in writing. Refer to our office for terms and conditions regarding cancellation fees.[/toggle]
